Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the www.vitaelight.com website (the “Service”) operated by AS 2031 s.r.o. (“the Seller”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

By ordering goods at the Service, you confirm that you are familiar with these Terms and that you agree with them.
The ordered goods become the property of the Buyer only after they were paid for (i.e. a full payment has transpired) and collected by the Buyer.
We reserve the right to cancel an order or a part of an order under the following circumstances:
- ordered goods are no longer being produced
- ordered goods are unavailable in the long term (e.g. due a temporary suspension or delay in the production of the goods)
- the price of the goods has changed significantly
In such cases, we will contact the Buyer immediately and agree on further steps.
The prices quoted on the website of the Service on the day when a Buyer makes a purchase (i.e. places an order) are considered as valid for the purchase.
The delivery times for each item listed on the Service are based on our current stock levels as well as the stock level and other information we receive from our suppliers and manufacturers, therefore the estimated delivery times are not binding but approximate. If an estimated delivery time cannot be met, we will contact the Buyer to specify the delivery time.
Method of Delivery and Payment Terms
Goods ordered from the Service can either be delivered to the Buyer by a parcel delivery service or the Buyer can collect the goods in person at our premises (i.e. retail store) in Prague. The goods can be paid for online during the checkout at www.vitaelight.com when placing an order, or later when collecting the goods in person in our store in Prague. We accept these payments methods:
- credit card, debit card or bank transfer for online payments,
- credit card, debit card or cash for in-person payments at our storein Prague (Sázavská 2031/32, Praha 2 – Vinohrady, Prague, Czech Republic, Mondays to Thursdays from 10 AM to 6 PM)
If the Buyer finds any defects or damage on the ordered goods after delivery, the Buyer is obliged to send us a photograph of the damaged light fixture with its original packaging box within 8 days after the goods were received. Later claims of this type will not be considered and hence eligible for a replacement or a refund.
Returns
The right to return goods for EU residents for any reason (or without stating a reason) can be exercised under the applicable law within 14 days of receipt of the goods. In such case, the Buyer has to contact us within the given deadline, preferably by email, stating their withdrawal from the contract. The Buyer then has to provide us with a bank account to which we can issue a refund and send the purchased goods back to us or deliver the goods to our premises (i.e. store) in person. The Seller has the right to include the return costs (i.e. the shipping costs) in the total purchase price to be returned to the Buyer.
For the items the Buyer wishes to return, the following conditions must be met:
- the luminaire is intact without any damage,
- the luminaire works
- the luminaire is in the original undamaged packaging
If any of these conditions is not met, we reserve the right to deduct the value corresponding to the damage to the goods from the refund, or even refuse to return and refund the goods.
According to the EU law, the right to return goods within 14 days of receipt can be exercsied only if the Buyerf ordered goods online or outside of a shop. The right cannot be exercised if the Buyer paid for the goods and collected them in person at our premises.
Warranty Claims
An invoice serves as a proof for any warranty claim. Goods purchased at www.vitaelight.com are covered by a 2-year statutory warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by improper installation and use of the goods
- mechanical damage
- natural wear that occurs through time and use
- damage resulting from failure to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions for handling of the purchased goods
If the Buyer finds any damage or defects on the goods covered by the warranty, in order to make a warranty claim they are obliged to send the goods to our business address (the cost of the delivery is paid by the Buyer) or return the goods to us in person. If we find the claim justified, the Buyer will be contacted to agree on the refund or replacement process.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
